How to enable linux drive access through network in Windows Vista

At Windows Vista, start "regedit".

Then, go to  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Lsa

Then, change the value of "LmCompatibilityLevel" to 1

Done.
